We are currently engaged in a feasibility study for expansion plans and the creation of a campus facility at the Torrance-South Bay YMCA, a site that encompasses 77,000 s.f. of building on 4.75 acres, with strong local demand for more facilities. In addition to extensive remodeling and building addition plans, we are studying how to create a cohesive campus on the 2.5-acre surface parking lot, with the addition of a 3-story parking structure and outdoor athletic fields. Our services have included meeting with local planning officials, incorporating stakeholder input and requirements, incorporating input and metrics from our team of consultants including cost estimating, and the preparation of alternate site plans and massing studies.
