profile
DSH // architecture is a practice founded on the belief that design makes a difference. Our portfolio of award-winning residential and educational projects includes tactile, light-infused and materially rich environments along with skillful transformations that foreground architecture's responsibility to urban communities.
DSH employs a research-focused, people-oriented design process that blends empathy and logic into a single thread of creative thinking. From concept to execution, we engage clients, understand their mission, and use our deep ability, experience and judgment to execute an elegant, beautiful, meaningful and affirming solution.
Through a thoughtful and investigative process, DSH creates work known for its creative use of color, light and materials, as well as its congruent design of site and landscape, all with an appreciation of the broader urban context and issues unearthed in the consideration of history.
