Qasem Baouni interned with DSH // architecture while in school and in 2011 began working full time with the firm. He is the drawing coordinator, 3D print coordinator, designer & project manager, and is currently pursuing his architecture license. He teaches computer aided drafting as a part-time Lecturer in the Architecture/Landscape/Interiors Department at Otis.

Qasem has coordinated & managed residential, institutional and educational projects, as well as exhibitions, including the awarded Para Los Niños Family Center, Los Angeles (2013 Spark Awards Finalist), Larchmont Charter, Lafayette Park (2014 Spark Awards Finalist), Villa Tangente, Jinhai China (Honorable Mention, Re-Thinking The Future, 2014), and Spiral Kitty Cat Shelter (2017 Architizer A+Award Finalist 3D Printing).
